# HEIC JPEG

> Free web app that converts photos in the browser: HEIC, HEIF, WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP to JPG, PNG, WebP or a single PDF, one or hundreds at a time, at full size. Photos are processed on the device and never uploaded. Made by RogueByte LLC (Sheridan, Wyoming, US).

## What it does
- HEIC/HEIF decoded with libheif (WebAssembly); other formats with the browser's own decoder (AVIF needs a recent browser).
- Output: JPG or WebP with adjustable quality (default 92%), lossless PNG, or one PDF with a page per photo. WebP output isn't available in Safari.
- Full resolution; on iPhone and iPad, photos over 16 megapixels are scaled to fit Safari's limits. Up to 500 photos per batch, 250 MB per photo (100 MB on phones).
- Location and other metadata are not copied. No upload, no account, no tracking; works offline once loaded.
