One HEIC file or many, from an iPhone, an iPad or iCloud.
Each photo is saved as a lossless PNG at full size, by this page.
One by one, or all together in a single ZIP.
Both open everywhere. They just make a different trade-off between quality and size.
PNG is lossless: what you edit, print or crop stays exactly as the camera recorded it, with no compression artefacts.
A JPG of the same photo is often five to ten times lighter, which is better for email, websites and messaging.
Editing or archiving: PNG. Sharing or uploading: JPG. You can switch the output above at any time.
Most online converters upload your pictures to their servers. HEIC JPEG doesn’t: the conversion runs in this page, on your own device.
Photos are read in your browser’s memory and gone when you close the tab. Nothing is stored anywhere.
The hidden details of the original, like where and when it was taken, aren’t copied. Safer to share.
Once the page has loaded, you can turn Wi-Fi off and keep converting. That’s the proof nothing is sent.
The same private converter, set up for other jobs. Every format works on every page.

PNG is lossless, so it keeps every pixel of the decoded photo, while JPG compresses and loses a little detail. For photos you’ll edit or print large, PNG is safer; for sharing, JPG is lighter.
Lossless compression can’t shrink camera photos much. A 12-megapixel photo is often 15 to 25 MB as PNG, compared with 2 to 4 MB as JPG.
No. The conversion runs in your browser tab, and your photos never leave your device.
